ThunderBirds is an evolution of a piece that simply haunts me. I think I keep revisiting this theme because it is such a resonant force in my personal path, and every time I do re-approach this it becomes increasingly powerful. My identification with what indigenous blood I carry grows proportionately to my interaction with this theme, or maybe it's the other way around. This particular version carries a strength within it that gives me a strong sense of the earth through the pounding drums, yet it flies through my heart with it's flute.

Toms, hoop drum, shaker, didgeridoo, violin, and flute were all played by Eric Geoffrey. This track was recorded and mastered at The Studio at Maple Ridge in June of 2010.
